Our management team is committed to ensuring all our customers receive a completed installation to the highest possible standard. Sea-Land Flooring has been a member of the Contract Flooring Association since 1972 and is also a member of the Safe Contractor and Contractors Health & Safety Scheme (CHAS).
Our Floor Laying Team
Sea-Land flooring directly employs our floor laying team. This philosophy allows us to maintain our standards and guarantee our work. Most of the team have over 15 years individual service with the longest serving employee has been with us since the company was founded. Our entire floor laying team is fully trained and have attended training courses for most major flooring material manufacturers and sub floor preparation providers.
They all hold the requisite Health & Safety qualifications and current Construction Skills Certification Scheme cards (CSCS Card). Sea-Land Flooring team members are also fully CRB checked, giving you peace of mind about the people working in your premises.
The Management Team
Mike Jackson - Managing Director
Mike is the Managing Director and owner of Sea-Land Flooring. Mike has 49 years experience in the flooring industry starting out with Dunlop Semtex, then starting Sea-Land Flooring in 1970 with his late business partner, Bob Marsh. Mike has a wealth of flooring knowledge not only on land but also at sea, specializing in finishes for ships' decking.
Andy Cormack - Director
Andy has 27 years experience in the flooring industry, spending 12 years as a floor layer working on contracts of various sizes for major High Street Retailers and Health Authorities. Andy has attended practical and technical training courses with most major flooring manufacturers. Andy has spent the last 15 years with Sea-Land and is now responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.
Philip Morris - Contracts Manager
Phil has 33 years in the flooring industry; 28 of which have been at Sea-Land! Phil worked on his tools as a floor layer for 22 years, working for a wide variety of clients all over the country. Phil's expertise is fixing vinyl wall finishes. His reputation and abilities are such that he was recently called out to Puerto Rico in the Caribbean for 3 weeks to install wall finishes for a worldwide Pharmaceutical Company. Phil has spent the last 6 years as Contracts Manager at Sea-Land, ensuring all our contracts are completed on time and to our high standards.
